After receiving my pharmacy degree at Ferris State University in Michigan I returned to my roots in Hamilton with the goal of owning and operating a pharmacy that makes a difference. We believe in an integrated style of medicine that addresses the whole patient and focuses on the most natural treatments possible. At CMP, we strive to make a positive impact in our community through charity and our ongoing commitment to the overall health and well being of our customers.I take great pride in the pharmacy’s many achievements. I am also the very proud father of 4 terrific children and enjoy spending time with my family as well as cooking, entertaining and being physically active.

Maria Musitano

I’m Maria Musitano, the proud sister of Patrick. I’m a compounding pharmacist who graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA. My pharmacy career is quite broad and varied, having begun my career at Shoppers Drug Mart, before opening my own successful pharmacy, and now joining my brother to make CMP the preeminent place for all health related concerns specializing in compounding medications and functional medicine.

Horacio

Horacio

My name is Horacio and I have been a pharmacist for almost 35 years (my God! mio Dio!). Throughout this time, I have had good fortune of picking up new languages and meeting many interesting people. Other than spending time with my family (and cooking) what I find most rewarding in life is both helping and learning from my patients. This is a way of thinking about my profession that Concession Medical Pharmacy has encouraged me to exercise.

Mario

Mario

I was born in Argentina in 1955 in a small town called Lujan, which is 50 km from Buenos Aires. I received my pharmacy diploma in 1983. After 18 years of working in my father’s pharmacy, my family and I decided to move to Canada. I started my career as pharmacy technician in Hamilton at Concession Medical Pharmacy which proved to be an excellent place to develop my skills and knowledge. At this pharmacy we work as a family but pursue the NAPRA standards rigorously. It is a true honor for me to work here as a pharmacist and be part of this admirable staff.

Jorge

Jorge

I have always had an interest in chemistry. I earned a degree in biochemistry and in 1984 a pharmacy degree from the University of Buenos Aires. I worked in basic pharmacology as a fellow of the Argentinean Council for Scientific Investigation. In 2002 I moved to Canada with my wife and three sons in search of a better future. I earned my Ontario Pharmacist license in 2004 and joined the busy team at Concession Medical pharmacy as a staff pharmacist. I am committed to working with Patrick and the rest of the staff for the well being of the Hamilton community.

Cordelia

Cordelia

My name is Cordelia Ajayi. I was born in Nigeria, West Africa.
I graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from University of Benin, Benin-city, Nigeria. I acquired varied experience in community, hospital and industrial pharmacy in Nigeria for a few years and then immigrated to Canada in 2001 with my husband. We have an 8 year old daughter.
My passion for pharmacy started as a young girl who saw the role of the pharmacist as the “good guy” in the health care system who dispensed all the good medications but did not administer injections that I had a strong phobia for. Ironically I am now a proud certified injection administrator. I am also trained in standard First Aid & CPR C + AED.
I have been a licensed pharmacist in Canada since 2005 and prior to joining Concession Medical Pharmacy in January 2015 as a staff pharmacist I worked for Rexall Drug Store for 13 years.
I am pleased to be part of the dynamic health care team at Concession Medical Pharmacy helping patients to achieve their individualized therapeutic needs.
In my spare time I enjoy a lot of family time and cooking.

My name is Carmen.  I began working at CMP in 2003 as a pharmacy technician. I have worked in roles from that of store manager, helping to direct the growth of the store and implement excellent customer service to my current role of managing all the UFCW patients with their Maintenance Medication Programs. I feel that this store is so different than any other pharmacy because of the people who work here making it a great team. If we were in the Olympics’ we would have the gold in every category. We try hard and play hard  to make sure we are the best.

Lena

Lena

I started at Concession Medical Pharmacy when it first opened. I was a co-op student at age 17 and decided to attend school to become a technician. After graduating from Mohawk College I returned to the pharmacy to work full time. I have now been here for over ten years. I have come a long way (that’s what they tell me) from being a co-op student to working alongside the manager assisting her in running this very successful pharmacy. I believe Concession Medical Pharmacy has played a large part in making me who I am today. I’ve grown with the business and become a part of a very strong family.

Antonina

My name is Antonina Monachino. I have been working at Concession Medical Pharmacy since I was 17 years old, working part time after school. I followed in the footsteps of my older sister Lena who also works here. I now work fulltime on the front line of the pharmacy which involves providing excellent customer service by entering prescriptions, answering phone calls and managing the workflow alongside my colleagues. We maintain a steady flow and make sure everyone is getting the help they need. I feel that Concession Medical Pharmacy has helped me grow into the adult I am today. We are not just a pharmacy, we are a place you can depend on to take care of your health care needs with our great team and through the vast amount of services we provide.

Leanne

Leanne

Hi, my name is Leanne.  I have been working at Concession Medical Pharmacy for 12 years now.  My role at the pharmacy is taking care of our customers who are using the Synmed Compliance Package Program.  This is a medication delivery system that helps our customers improve compliance with their medications as well as optimizing and ensuring they are taking the proper doses at the appropriate time of day they should be taken. The best part about Concession Medical Pharmacy for me is the amazing group of people working here; it’s like an extended family to me.

Jennifer

Jennifer

I have been the bookkeeper at Concession Medical Pharmacy since 2004. The size of my office (and my hours) have increased relative to the pharmacy growth over the last few years and I’m now located upstairs in the next building – so please excuse me if I’m a little out of breath when I meet with you or answer your phone call.

When my youngest child began to attend school all day I decided to go back to work. I have been working in different areas of pharmacy for 16 years. The last eight years I have been with Concession Medical Pharmacy. Health issues in my own family made working here very helpful. The true compassion demonstrated by all of our employees and the knowledge that they possess have helped me through both crises. They are a very supportive team!
